Applications must be received at least eight (8) weeks prior to proposed lecture date along with the correct processing fee (you will be prompted to the payment page upon submission of this application form).

2010 Application Fees (# of events per calendar year):

  • 1st event - $35
  • 2nd event - $50
  • 3rd event - $75
  • 4th event - $75

Approval from the New York Council for the Humanities MUST be received to host this Speakers lecture.  Not all applications will be approved.

1 Host organizations must advertise Speakers in the Humanities lectures as "free and open to the general public," and sponsored by the "New York Council for the Humanities, a state-affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities."
