NEW! Online Speakers in the Humanities application Applications for 2010 events will be accepted beginning in September, 2009. Administrative Fees: Fees are based according to the number of events held in a calendar year. Organizations are allowed to host two (2) events per year. If your organization is new to hosting Speakers events, proof of non-profit status is required (501c3 or 990 Federal Tax forms are accepted). First Application : $35.00 Second Application: $50.00
After submitting the online application, you will be promted to submit payment for the application fee either via Paypal (preferred), or mail by check. Please note that applications must arrive atleast eight (8) weeks in advance of your proposed lecture date. Funds will not be awarded to applications:
Notification: Within three (3) weeks of submitting your application, both you and your requested Speaker will be notified of the Council's decision via email. Please remember that funding is not guaranteed. Speakers in the Humanities is a competitive program, and the Council may not be able to fulfill all requests.
