Priscilla Gilman
Former professor of English literature at Yale and Vassar, author, Harper.
Priscilla Gilman is a former professor of English literature at Yale University and Vassar College. Her first book, The Anti-Romantic Child: A Story of Unexpected Joy, was published by Harper in May 2011 and featured on the cover of Newsweek's international edition. Priscilla has taught poetry to inmates in a restorative justice program and to New York City public school students. She writes and speaks frequently at schools and organizations about parenting, education, and the importance of the arts and humanities.
