Alfred C. Ronzoni

Trustee, Greater Astoria Historical Society

Al Ronzoni received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Boston College and his Master's degree, also in History, from LIU CW Post, graduating from both institutions with honors. While at CW Post he did research for his Master's Thesis entitled: A Bill Too Far: FDR, Congress and the Third War Powers Bill at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library in Hyde Park. He is currently serving as president of the Greater Astoria Historical Society, is a member of the board of trustees, a regular lecturer and co-creator of the Society's monthly History Roundtable program. He also works as a freelance reporter for the Western Queens Gazette. Mr. Ronzoni is also currently serving as a speaker for the Council's Speakers in the Humanities series, a scholar-facilitator for the Conversations Bureau and has also served as a scholar-facilitator for the Reading Between the Lines program.
