Thank you for your interest in the Council's Grants Program. Below are the steps on how to apply to our grant programs.
Council Grants Webinars
Are you new to the Council? Looking for a refresher about our new grant guidelines and online grant forms? Register for the Council's upcoming webinars. These one-hour webinars will feature a 30 minute presentation and 30 minute Q&A, so please bring your questions!

Project Grants & Planning Grants
If you have questions about any of the steps below, Contact the Council >
| Review the Grant Guidelines to be sure that your project meets Council criteria and that you have a strong case for Council support. We also recommend reviewing recently awarded projects and featured grants. | |
Decide if your project is appropriate for a Planning Grant or a Project Grant for implementation.

| Browse the Planning Grant or the Project Grant online application forms to ensure you can fully answer all the questions and provide all requested materials. | |
Click "I'm ready, start my applicaiton" to register yourself and start a new application. Next click “Begin Your Application.” NOTE An email called “Access Your Application” will be sent to your email with a link to your proposal in progress. Please keep this email and link handy if you plan on working on your proposal in more than one sitting. |

Attachments. On the final page of the application, you'll need to attach the following documents.

Submit Your Application. All applications must be submitted at least 12 weeks before your project starts. Please note:

Major Grants
In Spring 2012, the Council will make an announcement about our evolving grants, including larger grants (for up to $10,000). Information about grant eligibility, timing, award amounts, and funding priorities will be made at that time. Click here to read a statement from our Executive Director.
