The Council offers two online webinars for facilitators of our Community Conversations programs, "Facilitating Community Conversations for General Audiences" and "Facilitating Community Conversations for School-Based Audiences."
All facilitators are encouraged to attend one of these free webinars; facilitators at featured sites are required to attend prior to facilitating their Community Conversations event.

"Facilitating Community Conversations for General Audiences"
The webinar includes training on the Shared Inquiry model for exploring humanities texts and having open-ended conversations, reviews the roles and expectations for facilitators, and shares tips and best practices for facilitating Community Conversations.

Designed specially for teachers, librarians, and other facilitators working with Community Conversations for Young Adults and Community Conversations for Kids, this webinar includes tips for talking about difficult topics and big ideas with young people. The webinar also reviews the roles and expectations for facilitators.
